VBC- (JK to grade 6)
Junior Leadership Camp (grade 7 & 8)
Hops and Hope – is a program where young adults meet up and explore faith in conversation. With the help of a local pub, this group can chat, share a laugh and talk about specific biblical passages while enjoying some great food and a beverage or two. This event is being reorganized for a possible post-covid launch. Stay tuned for details.
Coffee House – is a community youth event partnered with LUSO Community Services, Youth Organizing Leadership Opportunities (YOLO), and London Beacock Library. Teens can come sing a song, read a poem, play at tune, or bust a move, or just hang out with friends and enjoy the entertainment. There are minute to win it activities, free food, and prizes. Bus tickets are available. Covid regulations have made it necessary to gather by ZOOM. To participate please contact Youth Ministry for dates and the log-in details.
Messy Church – is a casual service with fun family activities, a short, interactive worship service and a meal shared together. Messy Church values are about being Christ-Centered, family oriented and inclusive, while being based on creativity, hospitality and celebration. Families are invited to explore faith together and have fun! Messy Church will resume once Covid regulations permit.
Youth Café – is held during our in-person Sunday Services for youth grade 7 and up to explore the Bible in an age appropriate space. Youth participate over hot chocolate in bible readings, creative activities, and discussions about developing our faith and relating scripture to today’s world.
Sunday School – is held during our Sunday services for children in grades JK-Gr 6 to explore the bible in an age appropriate space. Children participate in Bible readings, active and creative activities, and Bible-passage- discussions with the help of SparkHouse lessons. We all have work, school, and extracurricular activities; the last thing we need is another “class” to go to. So, after a couple weeks of discussion and polling of the children and youth, Sunday school will be renamed to add to the idea of Sabbath Rest.
Zoom Family Group – is under development as “Joy Finders” (the working name for now) which could replace the JK-Gr 6 program. To participate please contact Youth Ministry for dates and the log-in details.
